Another Furniture Store began in 2022 on a whim, with a single table that didn’t quite fit my space. What started as a one off purchase quickly became something much bigger: a way to connect my lifelong passion for furniture, design, art, and the spaces we inhabit every day.

My journey into design started with architecture. I spent a semester studying architecture, fascinated by the way thoughtful design shapes how people live and experience their surroundings. Although I never completed my degree due to life circumstances, the education and perspective I gained continue to influence everything I do. Rather than viewing it as an ending, I chose to pursue my passion from a different angle through furniture, interiors, and photography.

As a Mexican who grew up in Mexico, my appreciation for design was shaped long before I ever stepped into a studio or classroom. I was surrounded by vibrant colors, rich textures, handcrafted objects, and spaces that effortlessly blended tradition with modernity. From artisan markets and historic architecture to the everyday beauty found in homes, streets, and landscapes, I developed a deep appreciation for craftsmanship and the stories objects can tell.

Mexican design remains the foundation of my aesthetic. I am drawn to its warmth, honesty, materiality, and ability to create spaces that feel both sophisticated and deeply human. The work of Mexican architects, designers, and craftspeople continues to inspire the way I curate furniture and interiors today. While I also admire the simplicity of Japanese design, the clean lines of mid century modernism, the functionality of Finnish architecture, and the refinement of Italian design, these influences serve as complements to a perspective that is fundamentally rooted in Mexico.

Another Furniture Store is not simply about buying and selling furniture. It is about curating pieces with intention, objects that bring character, history, and meaning into everyday spaces. I believe our homes should reflect who we are and how we want to live. The furniture and art we surround ourselves with can inspire creativity, create comfort, and help us feel more connected to our environment.

Whether it's a vintage find, a collectible design piece, or a collaboration with a local maker, every object is selected for its craftsmanship, authenticity, and lasting relevance. Photography is also an important part of my practice, allowing me to explore and communicate the atmosphere that thoughtful design can create.

Another Furniture Store is ultimately an extension of my passion for design, culture, and storytelling through objects. I am grateful to be part of a community that values craftsmanship, sustainability, and personal expression. Whether you're searching for a statement piece or something subtle that completes a space, my goal is to help you find furniture and art you'll appreciate for years to come.

Thank you for being here.
